With nine undergraduate schools and over 80 distinct majors, we strive to educate the whole person with a strong liberal arts foundation. Because most of your classes will be small, you become an essential contributor to the dialogue in each class; your thoughts will be valued, your opinions sought.


  • First Year Experience
    The FYE is your academic home for your first year at CUA. The goal is to support students through their freshman year during the transition to college.
  • Honors Program
    At Catholic University, the Honors Program provides an intellectual adventure for motivated students of outstanding academic promise who seek a rigorous and challenging learning experience.
  • AP & IB Credit
    The undergraduate programs in all schools of the University give academic credit for Advanced Placement courses taken in high school according to select criteria.
  • Global Education
    International study provides new cultural perspectives that enhance academic programs and supplement majors. Students who opt to study abroad have the chance to not only live in another country, but to immerse themselves in a completely different culture.
  • Internships
    Interning offers practical work experience in an area related to your field of study. This "hands-on" experience complements the lessons learned in the classroom.
