& GRANT OPPORTUNITIES
Parish
Scholarship
Parishioners
of Catholic churches who are admitted for full-time undergraduate
study at CUA are eligible for these $3,000 scholarships, renewable
for four years. A Parish Scholarship Application is included
in the hard copy Undergraduate Application for Admission or
may
be obtained online.
The
applicant completes the top portion of the form and the pastor
or his designee completes the lower portion. The completed
Parish Scholarship Application may be submitted with the Undergraduate
Application for Admission or submitted directly to the Office
of Admissions by the parish office.
The
deadline for submission is November 15 (Early Decision applicants)
or February 15 (Regular Decision applicants). Transfer applicants
must submit their completed form with their application.
The
pastor may recommend any number of parishioners for this award
as funding is provided by The Catholic University of America.
Note:
This scholarship is available only to new, full-time freshmen
and transfer students. If it is not pursued prior to enrollment
at CUA, it may not be sought in later years.
