Upon
your arrival, please park in the National Shrine lot at the
corner of Michigan Avenue, NE and Harewood Road. It's
located in the lower left corner of the campus
map.

REGISTRATION, McMahon Hall, Foyer
Upon your arrival, proceed to McMahon Hall to register and
pick up a schedule of activities.

a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
PRESIDENTIAL WELCOME,
Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
Join us in this magnificent basilica for your official welcome
to campus, including remarks by Father O'Connell, Catholic
University's president.
11:30
a.m. - 1:15 p.m.
LUNCH AND STUDENT LIFE FAIR,
Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center
Join fellow members of the incoming fall class for lunch.
Stop by the Student Life Fair to explore your extracurricular
interests-from athletics to student clubs. Coaches, staff
and students will be on hand to answer questions.

p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
THE CONVENTION OF SCHOOLS
Meet with faculty and students from the school and department
offering your intended major. Each school offers a special
presentation that introduces you to your academic program.
Your afternoon may include hands-on experiences and sample
lectures by faculty, as well as comments by alumni and current
students.

p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
LIVING AND LEARNING AT CUA
Sessions are planned for students and parents. Topics range
from internships, residence life and studies abroad to campus
ministry, campus safety and community service. Meet with students,
faculty and staff to hear how Catholic University is making
a difference in the lives of our students.
Optional Night on the Town
Leave your family behind and join new students, current students
and admissions staff for an evening of fun. Experience what
it is like to be a CUA student!
Each option (for admitted students only) includes transportation
and dinner. Payment can be made by cash on the morning of
the program. Your choices include:
Community Service in the City
Assist Campus Ministry with their weekly service project in
the nation's capital. Working with current students, you will
see how community service has become a vital part of student
life at CUA.
International Spy Museum
Visit the world's largest collection of international espionage
artifacts ever placed on public display. Explore interactive
exhibits about disguise, analysis and more! ($20)
Union Station
Dine in D.C.'s historic train station, which is one of the
capital's most visited sites. View the unique architecture
of this railway hub, and eat dinner with current and future
CUA students in the station food court. ($10)
Washington at Night Bus Tour
Take a memorable evening ride through Washington's National
Mall, with chances to step off the coach and visit famous
monuments. This guided tour is a must-do in D.C.! ($20)
