Open House Event Schedule

  • 9 a.m. Sunday Mass
    Take the opportunity to attend Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. For additional Mass times, click here.

  • 10:15 a.m. Open House Registration
    Sign in at the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center and start your day mingling with other visiting families as well as with CUA students, faculty and staff. Coffee, juice and muffins provided. For those students who wish to interview, please contact the office at 202-319-5305 to schedule.

  • 10:45 a.m. Opening Session
    You'll be welcomed by the Dean of University Admissions and other members of the campus community. You will learn about the endless opportunities awaiting you at CUA before you head to an academic session.

  • 11:30 a.m. Academic Sessions
    Join other prospective students who are interested in the same area of study as you. Sessions include the schools of architecture, arts and sciences, business and economics, engineering, music, nursing, philosophy and social work.

  • 12:30 p.m. Campus Tour
    Immediately following the academic session, a current CUA student will lead you around campus. You'll get to see a residence hall, the library, the student center and much more!

  • 1:30 p.m. Lunch at Pryzbyla Center
    Enjoy lunch on us in the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center.

  • 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Financial Aid Panel/CUA Student Panel
    Parents attend the financial aid seminar while prospective students join current students to learn firsthand about student life at CUA.

Once you arrive, simply follow the signs to the Open House. Current CUA students will point you in the right direction: look for the red and black balloons!
